Trade ya:What Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles have been offered in Trade for Your GN, TType

Just seeing the post on here where the guy wants to trade his Harley for a GN reminded me a an older gentleman who hadn't seen a Grand National in over 15 years, and the look on his face was priceless. He asked me would I be willing to trade a Lexus for the GN, later thinking, Man I should of at least asked what year. My first response was, "Honestly unless its a Z06 Corvette and I know thats not going to happen, I wouldnt trade it for anything."
What are some cars, motorcycles, trucks that people have offered you guys for your priceless beauty?

I'd take a brand new GSXR600 or GSXR750. R6 would work too. Honestly though, I just want to buy a slightly used bike so if I drop it I won't feel as bad.

As far as cars go, maybe an old school Lincoln Continental with suicide doors. Would be a great cruising car and I wouldn't be thinking of performance upgrades all the time. Z06/ZR1, GTO, new G8 would work as well. New Charger or Camaro when they come out. Turbo'd SC300 with 5 or 6 speed man tran would really float my boat.

When i purchased my first really slick 86 t-type like 9 or so years ago, i was driving down the road and this guy asks if it was for sale.

I politely told him, no, not for sale i just bought it!

He asked " well how much did you pay for it"

I yelled out to the guy, " i paid 5 for it"

Then he turned around and offered me 600 whole dollars on the spot, what a chump

He thought i mean 500.00 what a jackass, the car had nice paint and hell the tires alone were worth that LOL.

That was the last trade i was offered.

Put my Chevelle on racingjunk, I got all kinds of offers from a 10 second (so he says) 78 Malibu to Harley Davidsons to Jet Skis.

I've been asked once if I wanted to sell the Turbo T but no trades.

And a car payment.

Like the guy that posted on here a year or so ago. He want to trade his new GTO (with payment) for a GN in very good condition.

personally, i not only consider these cars a great joy to own, but in a sense they are also an investment, I would never consider trading for a of equal value that was going to depreciate, as our cars are appreciating. Having bought mine 4 years ago with <100k on it for only 6500, I have noticed that with every year the value has been going up, I could never see trading it for a rice rocket of equal value that would depreciate at an incredible rate, and wont be worth nearly as mcuh in 10 years. The only trades I would ever consider would be of something that will eventually go up in value, but thats just my .02

Oh I forgot some guy probably about my age or slightly younger saw my car at work and asked if I wanted to sell it. I told him I'd let it got for a few thousand more than I paid but no less. I would only trade/sell it for something of a higher value.

People are always asking do I want to sell it.

I even had a younger guy in a V12 Mercedes tell me how nice mine was and did I want to sell it, I was thinking to myself, Mannnnn your in a V12 Benz, and you say my car is nice. Anyway, I told him no wayyyyy nicely and that they are on Ebay all day, Then just gave him a little to let him know it was the real deal later when traffic cleared.

I dont know if peole just really dont know what they had or had to sell it for personal reasons, financial reasons or what, but they would say do I want to sell It, "I use to have one", I always think, why did you get rid of it.
