Johnny Lightning Die Cast...

OK folks,

Last night I was looking for a gift for my kids and wife at Walmart when suddenly I ran into the Johnny Lightning die cast and whalla!! There it was a nice looking 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T. What I like to most is the detail. So with that said, go to Walmart and get yours. I bought 2 of them, one for me and one for later when the prices go up on these things and sell it on ebay. Oh by the way, I didn't get to finish shopping for the wife and kids!! Maybe later.

Cool!

What color did you find?

We just had a post on the "Buick Diecast & Collectibles" forum regarding the newest releases and colors.
Can someone make a list of the newest JL releases?

You can go crazy trying to track down the different variations.

The one I found was burgundy. My buddy found one in Silver. I also have the 1970 Buick GS.

The one in my avatar is the Hot Wheels version of it. But the Johnny Lightning is way much better and detailed.

The best part is in the back of the package. It has this card that states:

"The dictionary defines regal as "of, relating to, or suitable for a king; or of notable excellence or magnificence,' and the '87 Buick Regal aptly fit the bill on all accounts. The T-Type coupe was directed at the performance market, and could argue with the performance of a 3.8 liter, 245-hp power plant that helped knight the Regal with the title of "The World's Fastest Production Car?"

Well put...

Just a little taste of what's out there for miniature Buick fans.
http://www.jlcollector.com/928.html
The bottom car did not photgraph well and looks like it's black. It's actually a rich burgandy color.

Some of the "old mold" Buicks.

Enjoy!

JL made a grey car & a burgundy car... both of them have 2 different wheel options. Its not a mistake, just JL's way of selling more cars to us!

you can see various pics of lots of TR diecasts here (scroll down when you get to this page):
