Got a lil stupid on the .....(never break the speed limit on public roads ) this morning coming to work.
Some younger guy in a newer VW whatever car kept getting over in front of me and slowing and I had the cruise on so I would change lanes and pass. He kept on and on.
He finally hemmed me up behind this semi and then looked over and grinned then floored it then a few miles down the road there he is putting along in the middle lane and, still having the cruise on, I ease by.
He jumps over and flys up on my back bumper, I get over. Well this time when he was going to pass me I floored it.
Had not blew out the 87 in a bit so I wound out into OD aways. Of course he was a spec in the mirror....did a recall on the SM and it said 141mph...yikes.
Jeez the car was still pullling when I lifted...gota love alky
Definetly got a lil carried away, was thinking jeez what if I had a blow out or a cop caught me.
Man im getting old...But it was fun..wee hew

Havent been doing much. Been gathering stuff to do my braided oil cooler lines. Got the brass fittings for the adapter so its a start. Also put new lug nuts and locks, as well as a TA Performance dumptube. It DOES fit on the 3" THDP. Going to Cecil this Saturday if the weather holds up.

Got to put a HydroBoost setup on a hybrid Firebird tommorow night. We already did the Aerospace Components four-piston calipers all around, just gotta finish up the lines. The e-brake is gonna take some creativity, so that should be fun...

Had so much fun changing injectors earlier today that I went back out for Round 2, removed my stock location intercooler, intake piping, etc, to prepare for turbo swap, new intercooler, etc. So much more room with all that garbage out of the engine bay!

Today it was dash speakers, didn't get finished, need to mount them below the bracket and they weren't very fond of trying to reproduce too much bass so I had to pick some bass blockers up for them this evening, should get it finished tomorrow.

Ok finally done with this round of misc crap, this week I put on a new window seal on the door to replace the cracking old one so hopefully less water goes down into the door. Also put one on my truck too, since the driver side on it was all busted too, funny thing is, NEITHER of them needed a passenger side one so I have a brand new passenger side window seal for an 85 truck and GN both.

Also put in new Eclipse door speakers, and new Eclipse dash speakers, and a new door lock switch. Just a handful of stupid little annoyances mostly.

Got a little bit further along my huge list of things to do. Removed front bumper so I can install FMIC, but not before figuring out where to put the two fluid coolers that I have mounted there right now.

Took off crank pulley, billet replacement from RJC should be here in a few days. God bless a low mileage car, didn't have to beat the pulley with a mallet for 20 minutes.

The last few parts I need should all be coming in the mail this week, and then it's crunch time.

I put one of those on back in November when I changed the fluid (what fluid there was), found out the rear was getting so old I could rock the diff up and down, and decided it needed rebuilt. It took me what seem like an eternity to get it filled. But it does look good!

Strangely enough, the rear has stopped making noise these days(?). The poor old car is still going down the road so the diff is still on the 'to do' list.

Along with the turbo, headers, downpipe, intercooler, air conditioner, paint, interior....
