How long does gas last ? ( time wise )

My GN has been in the garage since I moved here to AZ. from OH. 3 yrs ago. Have been busy working and all that new house stuff. Haven't had time to drive it, got to get insurance and emission checked. Is the gas in it any good or just use it as weed killer. It was 93 octane, could it be used in my 89 corsica ( work car )
Any tips for passing emissions, cat has a 3 inch pipe thru it.
Thanks,
Tarey D.

Drain It!

Some say gas starts to go bad after only four months. I've run older gas than that with no problems. 3 years is way to long though.

Gradually mix it over time with fresh gas and burn it in the Corsica.

Some tire places like Tire Kingdom accepts old gas and charge a small fee.
