What is a set of OEM tires worth ?

A friend of mine has a set of OEM tires from an 87 GN with only 2k miles.

What would they be worth ?

Unless you have a 100 point concours correct show car that you don't drive, not alot. My car had the original tires on it when I got it. They suck. The original owner went with aluminum wheels and better tires as soon as he got the car. Now I know why.

I would not buy 20 plus year old tires for any car. They have to be dry rotted by now. Gator backs did look very cool but a blowout at wot would suck.

I don't think these tires are meant for a car that is driven too much. Probably for a show only type of car.

P.S. they were stored properly and have ZERO dry rot.

The 18K mile '87 GN I bought a few months ago has the original rubber on it. They aren't dry rotted and have decent tread left. I still hate 'em and have been undercoating my rear fenders with them as much as possible before winter gets here since new tires are planned for the spring. I would have bought them by now but toy funds were tight after paying for the car.

I saw a set of tires for an original 70' Hemi Cude run for 3k once The guy pulled them off and stored them right away. Anyhow, like stated above, theiur only good for a 10point show car...probaly more the GNX crowd than anything. But not sure if It's the same tires for them.
