Traveling to Huntsville AL and South Bend IN this week

I'm in Huntsville right now and will be flying out Wed. for South Bend. Anything interesting to do in these towns? I'm working, so I don't have a ton of time. I'll see if I can check out the Space and Rocket center tomorrow.

How long have you been here??

Space and Rocket center is nice, maybe cantch an IMAX movie there after lunch at Hooter's We always run at Huntsville Dragway but your leaving Wed so you'll miss that. We have lots of car guys around and events going on all the time but all that happens on weekends also. There's all kinds of things to do but not much for tourist during the week.

I flew in yesterday and will be leaving mid-morning tomorrow. I just have some systems upgrades to do at our remote sites. WE have IMAX and Hooters in Phoenix. Any good places to eat?

Depends on what you like. There's several nice Japanese Steak house's in town but I'm sure you have that in Phoenix also. I hear good things about Tim's Cajun Kitchen but I've never eaten there so I can't say. The area is known to have the best bar-b-que or catfish you've ever had but those places aren't in Huntsville.

Not too much in South Bend. When will you be here and what area are you staying in? What are you interested in doing and I can probably point you in a direction. You're always welcome to come over and clean the TTA.

I'll be flying out to South Bend tomorrow. I'm staying out at the Hampton Inn off of US 31 North. It sounds like there's nothing exciting out there, so maybe point me towards a few good places to eat. I'd love to check out the TTA if you're in the area.

Here's some directions to our Wednesday night cruise in. It's typically younger people but normally a lot of fairly nice imports and not rice. I'll be there in the TTA, it starts at about 7 and normally lasts till about 9. I'll PM you my cell phone number so you can just call me if you get lost or want to see if anything is still going on.

Thanks for inviting me out! I had a good time even though it rained. It was nice to do something other than hang out at the hotel.

Thanks,

It's turned out to be a nice day today. I think I'll go check out the ND campus. Give me a call if anything's going on.

Mike
