looks fake. If it's real, it's ugly and won't be a choice for TR purists....

Well I found it is actually an article at Popular Hot Rodding's site. It's just them daydreaming about it though, the writers refer to it as "their" GNX, just a design they made up based on the GTO platform.

And the turbo? Forget about it. A major redesign of an available V-6 or V-8 engine (needed for a turbo) would cost too much and drive the price right into the stratosphere.

"Their" GNX sux. Give Champion a call, order 50,000 aluminum blocks and t76 turbos, some realistic styling, sell for under forty grand, and call it a day.

Just my opinion

that car looks crazy they need to just start with the original and make the technolgy it true to G- body styling cuz that is not what i would picture as a gnx. I if they want to release a new car then at least make it a v6 powerplant instead of a v8

Why would they call it a GNX? The GNX is only popular among muscle car freaks. most folks would not know a GNX or even remember them.

Why not call it a grand national?

It is still somewhat fugly. I would rather see them make a LaCross GN than a midget rice car.

Yes let it drop. If GM really wants to build one they will, but I'll belive it when I can touch one. And that photochop has been around for far too long.
