Attention North Carolina GN owners!!

Did any of you run at the North Wilksboro Dragway this weekend? I have a buddy with a black Duramax that said he was smoked by a Grand National Saturday night. He said it had the tag "just a six". His next comment was "do those things have a turbo or something". Just wandering if it was someone here.

I'm pretty sure it was Paul Fritts aka known a Wheezer on the board. I heard he was there this past week with his Drk Blk Cherry 86 Ttype. Tell your buddy that he's just starting to tune.

Thanks Scott, When he told me about it I actually thought it may be you. The guy that I was talking about is 19 and he knows nothing about these cars. I told him that he was lucky that his truck still had its headlights because the Buick was probably capable of sucking them out as it passed by. I don't remember his exact time but the Buick beat him by just over a second and it's just an 1/8 mile track.

Yeah that was me. His truck done well, looked like he was 3/4 track when I crossed the line. I was there to get a baseline for some tuning efforts. Pretty disappointed in the time....7.54 @ 96 mph. I've got a full second to shave to reach my goal of mid sixes and 103. Horrible 60' of 1.91, suspension has a ways to go apparently.
