Launching
Why is it no matter how fast a TR is 12 seconds, 11 seconds it looks like a slug out of the hole compared to a 80's mustang. They just launch foward violently compared to our cars. Even tough ours are faster? Always loved the way mustang leaves the line.

Maybe the manual vs auto tranny, or that the mustang is smaller

Turbo cars need to spool up, and sometimes its hard to hold it on the line, thats why some guys use a transbrake. A mustang, on the other hand, is usually N/A and with a properly sized convertor has all its power right off launch.
Trust me, theres some hard leaving TR's out there.
