Wow ANS went out of bussiness bummer.. I took my car to street perfomance 2 years ago, i think in elk grove, was not happy at all.

Recently i went to a-alert auto and they did a decent job getting my GN running after sitting for a year\.

I got one of the last motors built by ANS. I dont know if thats good or bad. But so far seems to be good. Pete was having a hard time and then to make things worse an employee was ripping him off. Parts, tools and whatever.

If we could locate Pete Im sure he would still take on some jobs. Unless he's dying or something.

Anyone know where Pete is now?

PS: Hey Glen I would like to meet you I live in Mokena. Let me know when your out crusin and we will meet up. Rick

Try ASSC in Lake Bluff, IL. 1-847-473-4720. Tim, Tony, or Larry. They do a good job. Don't know their background on Buicks, but they have done awesome work with Pro Chargers. Larry knows his stuff when it comes to tuning. Post your results when you make a decision.

No shiite! Wonder why I've never seen your car. Cool!

Are you any good tunung and troubleshooting alky. I am having some problems. Mabye I could get you to swing buy sometime. Have a new SMC progressive. No matter where I set it, it seems to flood the motor. A second opinion would be nice. Are you running alky?

I don't know anyone else with a GN or Turbo T around here. I've seen a grey T around 187th and Wolf once in a while but have'nt had a chance to meet the guy.

Getting ready to leave work. Talk with you more when I get home.

Rick

had to jump in... My uncle owns VanDam Auto right over there, next to Bernardin's. I'm on spring break so I get to spend most of this week over there We have a customer with an '86 GN, owned it since new... also lives in the area. absolutely mint. Pretty much stock though I believe...

anyways, I don't own a TR (yet), but I got pretty much the only '83 H/O in the area... stopped going to steak and shake after I got a ticket one night from Tinley. Ever head up to Frankfort cruise night?

car looks very familiar, I am pretty sure I have seen it around before

I usually talk to most of the TR guys at the cruise nights... won't be around as much this summer, got an internship in Detroit with daimlerchrysler. I'll keep an eye out for ya, if you see the '83 pokin' around, most likely gonna be me for a family member stealing my car Lookin' forward to seeing the GN sometime!

Agree with the above reference to Dennis, you could also try:

T. S. Motorsports Inc.
Tom Slodowski? ( sorry if I mispelled last name)
Joliet Il.
815-922-5677

Both individuals do work on GN/T's.......guess it would really depend on what you need done?

Joe
