Thumbs up BIG thanks to Odell C.

I just want to thank OC for helping me with assembly of my stage short block this past weekend. There are so many other guys out there with fast cars will not even turn around to look at you. OC on the other hand has taken me and my buddies under his wings with out even expecting a penny. He has saved me and others tons of money and time by showing and teaching us how to go about building these awesome motors the proper way by sharing his great knowledge and tricks that he came up with his own.

When I started my project three years ago, I picked up a whole bunch of stuff and had no idea what I had. I started talking to OC about some of the stuff he had for sale and mentioned to him about what I had. He said, he was willing to look at it and let me know what I can use and what I can’t. I drove over to his house, over 250 miles. He treated me as though we were friends for a long time. Since then, I called and bugged him a countless number of times, hours at a time and he was always very patient and explained things until I understood.

Thanks Odell, I wouldn’t have reached this far with out your help.

Now it make sense!

Thats funny reading this because I have done the same thing to Wickedv6, asked him numerous question usually the same ones a few times and he always answers the phone and addresses my concerns about my build. I think the common denominator is the "TurboBuick" factor. Were all just good guys and obviously OC and Wickedv6 are no exception. One concern about Wickedv6 however-----just watch the family pets around him!!

Well, now you guys know why I went and bought a farm, with all the farm animals I have, I like to keep all my friends happy when you guys come by. I think Jason’s favorite is Dolly the sheep and Neil likes May the cow. I forgot which one is your favorite. I think Derrick likes the coyotes. Hey what ever floats your boat.

One a serious note, sharing the wealth of knowledge and information is the one of great assets, especially in such a small Buick community and I hope it stays that way. I have no problem sharing information as learn from the Buick legends.

Thanks
Prasad
