Last I knew Peter Dimas (I believe he's a member here) is a realtor out there in Vegas. Maybe someone has some contact info?

If you want a home in vegas you better buy now. The homes are going up very fast. I almost bought a home in vegas in 2001 for 315k. Went back to vegas in November of 2004 and the same home was selling for 1.1 million. See what happens when you procrastinate? Unfortunately a home for 400k today is really a basic 120k home in other states. I have changed my destination to Arizona. Still some good buys their

Did look in St George Utah and they have some nice buys their but I dont think I would get along with those people. I am kind of a heathen and they roll up the streets on Sunday. So its Arizona here I come. Sorry guys your just trying to keep the population down and it wont work. Everyone Arizona is the place to be, more the merrier

Reno- you can ski in the winter and summer you can visit/boat on Lake Tahoe and many other great places.
Vegas- hot as hell during the summer, Lake Mead, casinos (gets old fast) If I had to decide between the 2 I'd take Reno. Close to San Franciso and if you like the outdoors that is the place. Also there is a road race track in Reno... very fast track.

where to live?
big place , the US, someplace for everyone.
I'm in northern Az, (kingman) 3500 ft elevation, got to 100 degrees today, but lots less than vegas or Phx, housing is rising, but still affordable, lots of new business's moving into town, ( some of the big names) I'm just over 1hr from Las Vegas, and 1.5 hr from LV speedway, if you wanna head to Phx, its 2 to 3 hrs, ( depends on where) Laughlin is 30 min away, and Flagstaff is 2 hrs, ( almost always cool there) not saying this is the best place on earth, but it works for me! if your in the area, call , and have a cold one ( it may be Ice tea) I'll steer you to some interesting places. ( this applies to anyone in the area!) thanks cruzn57

Kingman is a little hot for me, but land is still relatively cheap there. A lot cheaper than here where a lot goes for 150k bare. ![]() |
