Yepl that is what they are saying out here, but it is not like that in the real California. You have to understand, Malibu is like living in any other communist country. Actually, gas here is Sac is much like the rest of the state. Regular is anywhere from $2.15 to $2.30 a gallon, and premium is anywhere from $2.35 to $2.60 a gallon. A few more months of this and we will be ready for them to start uncapping all the old wells here that have been redrilled with new technology and capped for the last 20 years.

Why is that? It's liberals who have refused to explore for new oil sources, to build refineries, to use and expand existing power materials such as coal or nuclear power, and just sit and whine and blame everything on the President. WAKE UP!

Yeah I kinda figured things in MALLY BU would be OVERPRICED.
Guess those sukers like paying more for there homes, gas whatever else they do out there. I may bitch about the cold & stuff about new england but heck at least things are not as wackey priced up here. Heck our drag strip supposedly opened today I think they drop the price to $5 to race just to get people in. Well it is 20 out now & should be a high of 48 today ![]() |

FWIW & IMHO:
I paid $ 2.459 a gal for crappy 91 octane supreme? about last Monday at the lease expensive station that I know of (Arco) on the way to work. Basically, $ 2.259, $ 2.359, & $ 2.459 at the discount stations. Price was the same Friday morning when I went to work. This does suck, and the more that the new media hammers it, it will only get worse. Makes you wonder what would happen if they never mentioned it again. How much sensationalism (Hey, we need spell check here) is involved here.
