Jeff Cooner's Limited Street record setting 4.87 pass... *Video*

Not bad for a 3000lb car on true 10.5 tires with no wheelie bars...

7.70 - 7.60 pass in the 1/4 according to the calculators I play around with... If you notice on the link it says 768 so I ASSume they mean this pass would be a 7.68 in the 1/4 according to their math...

Thanks for posting that link. Jeff is a friend of mine here in good ole Bama.

The car would likely run a good bit quicker in the 1/4 since he is on a real 10.5 and doesn't get the 60'ft the W guys do. The car is a procharged ford. I believe it's around 410ci..

BTW, this car has a factory dash, factory steering wheel, cd player, door panels, carpet, etc. etc.

Procharged huh?? I was told it was a single turbo (101 or 106mm) SBF... Oh well I guess he ASSumed it was a turbo from the sound in the vid (hell I did too)... Probably has an F-3 w/ a Liquid intercooler like Jim Blair's car down here... Anyways that is definitely one bad ass mofo!

Thanks for clearing that up

That thing is a runner.
Small Tire, Forced Induction Racing is where it's at!
The blower cars have an easier time leaving than the turbos.
