Mid 12's?

Last time I had the car to the track it ran a 13.05 @99 mph on slicks, race gas, and 108 chip with a bad transmission that wouldn't shift right. Trans rebuilt and new 2600 stall convertor from Pats. Took it out last night playing around with a g-tech and ran 14.1 @ 103.3 on crappy radial ta's and 93 oct with alky and a 93 chip. I couldn't hook worth a crap. I'm thinking with the slicks, race gas, and 108 chip this sucker should be a mid 12 car. Yes or am I being too optimistic? Car is a basically stock turbo/intercooler recipe car. Anyway mid 12's was where I was going to quit with the car and I think its there but I haven't been to the track. This car will probably be for sale soon and I doubt I'll get it to the track before I sell it. Another car is on the way and the wife says I can't have 2. Is claiming its a mid 12 sec car dishonest without the slip or do I need to back it up?

IMO,you have a low 12 second car,it just needs to be tuned properly to do it.Everyone knows or should know 12's are nothing for a TR.If it were me I would just tell the potential buyer it runs great and leave it at that,if you tell him what it runs they may get the impression you beat the hell out of it.

Why do you have to know how fast it is? Any TR can run in the twelves without doing much. The treat is to own one.
