Depends on the style, manufacturer, etc.
Open, Enclosed?

My open (steel) 18' car hauler weighed around 1900#.
My enclosed 24' car hauler weighs 3450#

I have an 18 foot steel deck dovetail with extended tounge and steps along the side. Without my tool box it weighs 2250. It is pretty loaded with features though so I would think you wouldn't find one (open) much heavier.
