In the words of Ric Flair....." to be the man you gotta beat the man, WOOOOOOOOOOO!"

My car is a REAL 86 Gn (whats left of it!!!!) with a single turbo, I have heard how fast Buddy went and what his combination was (in WJ's Olds with Buick front end) and I have to admit, he was WAAAAY ahead of the times but he had corporate sponsorship and an open checkbook, not to discount his accomplishments but I kind of look at it differently. Our major issue has been the clutch, I am SURE Ingersoll had that part of it NAILED with all of his Pro Stock experience and I also know we'll probably never get ours as close as he had it. I think we are making more power than he ever did and I still think there is a bit left in my car and hopefully I can better my ET and MPH.

awesome!! bravo!!! it makes me proud to be a buick owner and see you guys hauling this much ass without buick sponsorship! I realize that as fast as he was, that yep, he had buick right there signing over blank checks.. so I think its even more impressive now that you guys are out there and SOOOOO close doing it on your own dime! keep up the awesome work everyone

Love him or hate him, Alvin's car went 7.4's at 188.... that car has a lot of steel panels on it too, look at the pictures of it and tell me I'm wrong. Don't forget about a guy named kenny too, he was hauling ass 5 years ago.

When Duttweiler raced Conley is was a 272ci V-6 vs. 445ish BBC.
Duttweiler won the best 2 out of 3.

I could do a top 10 updated... It would take a bit though. As for the kenny and conley thing, don't forget conley has a tt big block in that camaro vs tt 272 in an oldsmobile body for kenny. Conley said he used to put basketballs in the inlets while the car wasn't running to keep crap out, and forgot to remove them for the best out of 3 that day. Kenny ran 6.8s? at 208 with that stage 2.

hell yeah i would!!
i'd even set up a small page for it..

http://turbosix.net/top10 or something like that, if all of the top guys wanted to submit a little build up and a picture or two... i'd even update it as everyone got faster.

if they wanted to i mean.. i think it owuld be kinda cool. anytime someone has a new best, they email me and i update the page....

just an idea
