Question What does it take to get your car on the front page of TB.COM?

Im sure that alot of people have heard thru the grapevine that Fast Eddie Brewers stock turbo'd 87 T went 11.64 last week on Eric Marshalls chip,91 octane and methanol at 114. i have a picture of the scoreboard
there is a thread in the alky section.

the car has been running 11.7-11.8 with the convertor unlocked for the past year, the 11.64 pass wasnt a fluke, it was locked up-

Ed will tell the story, so everyone keep their eyes open for his next post in the alky section about the passes today.

Is mid 11s on the stock turbo,intercooler,ecm,t-body, good enough to write an article about his car and put it on the front page?
I think it is good enough, what does it take to accomplish this?

BW
*put car back to stock already*

BTW, anybody know how much the car weighs?? Looks like the weather conditions were near perfect, but that's still VERY impressive for that combo and on pump gas and alcohol to boot!

You bet man, damn impressive!

Ed and i talked on the phone 3 times today since he ran those times.
i suggested that he needs to take digital pictures of his car, the time slip, and pics of the turbo with the Maf hose off just to prove to the nay sayers that it does indeed have the stock turbo on the car.
Of course anyone can call Eric Marshall up and get the file and notice that the injectors are dialed back to 30# injectors.

WOW

Cool

Yep I'd say that is definitely VERY worthy of being on the home page! Also, I noticed his car is a white T.... Don't take me for some superstitious fool (well maybe I am), but it seems like the white T's are always a bit faster

We have said many times, in many posts, if any member wants his or her turbo Buick car on the "Rides" page, submit a write-up and pic.

It does not matter how fast [or slow ] the car is, the member needs to just supply specs on the car and some bio info on them.

We would like to rotate these profiles every month or so. If we get lots of submittals, we will do a random pick but eventially get all posted.
