Thumbs up Julio Is The Man!

Well just wanted to give praise to Julio @ Alky Control b/c I'm pretty sure his alky injection kit saved my engine... those who were at Gateway Int'l saw and probably heard my Turbo T Limited blow off the vacuum lines from the f/p regulator, vaccum block and vacuum t to the boost gauge. As i was 1/2 way down the track my tranny [supposed to be a built tranny which i had done less then 4k miles ago - but thats another story ] go out. What resulted was a huge boost spike and no gain in f/p. What saved my engine from certain destruction was Julio's progressive alky injection which dumped massive amounts of Methanol to match the massive amount of boost. instead of my brothers watching white smoke spewing out of my tailpipes they watched the beautiful black smoke spew out... All I can say is Its the best mod I've done to my car and worth every penny and No julio isnt paying me ... but if he'd like to i can think of some parts i want.

Oh by the way earlier that night i got my best mph - 12.7 @ 111 - true street car with bald ass bf/g TAs, full tank 93, spare n jack, 3800 lb, 2.1 60ft, 21-22 lbs boost, no boost launch

Very good news to hear. This type of failure would have certainly resulted in some serious damage. That MAP system thingy did its thing to keep that motor alive.

Ive known Julio for some time but just the other day finally took a close look at his sytem. I have to say that kit is the cats meow!. Im a "do it your selfer" but my next home made kit will have his controller. Just got too much on my plate right now
