Took GN out today for first time since November

Sun was out and all the salt is off the roads....finally.

Drove the freeway and through town a bit. Got several "nice ride" comments. :-)

Got that feeling again that I got the first time I ever drove it.

Sub sounded good too. Stopped to raise the alky pump speed a bit and low and behold the guy at the gas pump also has an 87. We chatted a bit and then I continued on.

God I love these cars!!!!!!

Ditto!

I just did the same thing a couple of days ago! Took the car out to pick up a pizza and put some fresh gas in it after it had pretty much just sat in its cozy garage bay since late October. I did have it running several times but not out on the road so it was GREAT to be back behind the wheel.

Lots of thumbs up and grins from appreciative motorists and pedestrians! One guy in a late model Mustang GT even pulled up along side in the turn lane and just grinned, stared and then waved when he turned.

It is AWAYS a cool experience to be out in the GN.

I took todd's out yesterday for a test drive. I installed a power plate & stock plentum (had a hemco). It went from having 9.7 degrees of KR to 4.9 @ 18 #s of boost. The gas is like 8 months old. I should have the alky on it in 2-3 weeks. hoping for 0 degrees of KR after that.

And where was Todd while you were out joyriding in his GN?? (foot tapping loudly)

I didn't see any cops which is a good thing as I turned right at an intersection and gave it a tad bit too much gas.

For a few nervous moments I was sideways in both lanes (2 going each direction with a center turn lane in the middle).

Got her mostly straight and let off the gas.

At the light a mid 90's Impy SS pulled up next to me and gave me a thumbs up :-)

Now.....of course......it is raining again......
