Arrow what color to paint my car?

I've got most of the damage fixed from my little run in with a few small trees and its getting close to time to paint the car, it needed it before anyways.

I'm really having a hard time deciding on the color. right now its the factory dark blue, i like it, but i'm not crazy about it. I'd like to go black but the body isnt' straight enough for it, and i don't really want a black car, too much work, but does look good.

heres what i'm thinking..
corvette and other chevy's blue
new mustang blue (these 2 are pretty close)
candy apple red (i love that color, but i dont' think it will work on my car, especially with the blue interior)
or keep it simple and go white.

any other sugestions? right now it has all the chrome pieces, but i might get them snadblasted and painted black, or just leave them how they are. Or maybe paint some body color, depending on what will look right.

Has anyone else seen anything that looks good, or you think might look good?

White would be different and easy to take care of. Looks good with black out trim peices too!

There is a white T in Louisville/ Lafayatte though...so you wouldn't be the only one around the area.

Always liked the really dark metallic blue. Also thought that the metallic charcoal/gunmetal looks great.

You could also do some subtle graphics/striping if you're into that.

i like the color on the suzuki, but if i'm going to go that dark (hard to keep clean) i want something thats going to stand out. i have te same thought with the charcol, i really like the color, but too plain.

I want to airbrush on the emblems, i've seen it done before and it looks very cool. but at the same time i want to have no emblems at all. I was thinking of airbrushing a pinstripe that looks like chrome, but i think that might be going too far.

i'm looking for either and easy to take care of yet still looks good, or something that really looks good, as long as its not black. thats just too much work for a driver...

Paint it Caddillac's "White Diamond" pearl white. I had my old Camaro painted this color and loved it. Plus the body shop had a ton of it, making it cheaper, due to them doing touchups for the dealer. Would look good with the blue interior too.

dark blue interior.

I've only seen one caddy in white, it was an esclade with all kinds of aftermarket stuff so i thought the paint was new too. kindof a pinkish pearl in it? i don't know if thats the color or not but it did look good, but not quite my taste. and i've seen the price of the pearl stuff, also not my taste.

i saw 2 corvettes today in the dark blue, then a chevy truck in the same color, ugly trucks but i still like the color

http://www.corvettemuseum.com/specs/2002/index.shtml

first and third pictures...

how would it work with the chrome parts?
leave everything chrome, black or body color?

getting close to doing this... (getting a little bit excited)

I don't know how yellow will look with your interior but I saw a 69 camaro the other day that was painted yellow.

They said the yellow was from a new style corvette. Almost an orange/yellow really. They painted the trim black and it looked very tough. Should be an easy one to take care of too. Anybody ever seen that color of yellow?

i've seen that yellow, very cool color, but i don't think it would work its just way too bright. i'm sure you can find it at that corvette site i posted a link to.

i never really thought of silver, but i know exactly what color your talking about and really do like it. maybe darker charcol color. i have a friend who painted his dart that color, i might be able to get some extra paint from him...

Cool

Not that many colors go with dark blue interior.

I'd keep it stock blue for a good match and the dollar added value of originality.

Don't see many blue T's around.

I agree with alot of the posts and say white or silver would work great and you look great with either the trim in chrome or black. If it was me, my preference would be silver. I painted my Cutlass like a 442 and used 2002 Daimler-Chrylser Sienna Pearl metallic (burgundy)and the lower in 2002 GM Silver Metallic.
The burgundy is actually harder to keep clean than I would imagine as dust seems attracted right away and being pearl it seems to show easier. The silver on the other hand has a hint of champagne to it at some angles and looks like chrome at others. e-mail for pictures if you would like

Black with dark blue interior?

I'm Italian and I even wouldn't try that one.

White with dark blue looks great on Grandma's Limited.

Silver and Gray work fine.

Nobody paints their car light blue.
