Seen a TR yesterday......

X-mas day we were moving cars over to my Parents complex to make room for company. Anyways, I am getting out of the beater Cutlass when I remember to grab one of those Dub City Grand Nationals out of the back seat. It was the new Candy Apple Red version. As I was looking down at it I heard something start up that sounded unusual and nice,a little racy. I look to the direction of the sound and can see what I thought was my other Cutlass's roof and as I continue walking I see the back of a girls head, long, dark curly hair. I thought my girlfriend who had borrowed the car earlier was there and the sound was from another vehicle parked next to it. Then I see the wheels and it had no lower silver paint.
A Turbo Regal T !!!
I walked towards the owners holding the car and pointing at it, just to show them. Started talking to them and found it was a T Type I had seen for sale awhile back. (The same one you seen Mark, GNX7). They had a new wood steering wheel in it and had it repainted a nice burgundy, very close to mine. They seemed to take some time to clean it up and detail and tune it. The paint job looked really good too.

The guy asked how much I wanted for the car and I thought for a second and told him $25. He forked over the dough happily as the car looked just like theirs.
Then when my brother showed up I told him I sold one of his presents cause he was late

I had another at home that I gave him though.

Just thought I would share. Kind of rare to see around here. I have seen a GN, this particular T, a black T with crome bumpers, 3 white ones (one with wire wheels) and a really nice light metallic blue T in Vacaville, Fairfield, Suisun area. I am always keeping an eye out for them
