Thumbs down Just another car, sitting under a tree...

ya know, most of the time, it usually doesn't bother me when I see cars rotting under trees.

But sometimes, I gotta wonder....

Pretty sure this is the "real deal"...

Front shot, sad sad sad...

(I was driving by when I took these pics, sorry for the windshield glare & the blur!)

I'm 'bout half tempted to knock on the door and see if some little old lady answers...

I'm thinking Fiero with a body kit, but I can't say that I'm a Ferrari expert by any means. My gut says Fiero. If I'm wrong, please don't tell me. I can stomach a Fiero being treated like that, but not the true alternative.

I'm 99.9% sure its a fireo. Look at the wheels and wheelbase, things all out of proportion.

Dead give away

I'm not a Ferrari expert, but I think I might have spotted a dead give away. Look at the gas filler door on the driver's side of car under the tree.

Now, check out this link (please keep drooling to a minimum)

http://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/

If you navigate to the photos.. the members photos and scroll down, there is a silver 308. What's missing??

I'm no expert either, I was just driving by, and I had my camera with me, so I clicked off a couple...I figured it might be a kit car.

Probably explains why someone would let an $80k car sit & rot in front of a $75k house!

There was a guy that would show up at Corvettes at Carlisle every year with a very nicely done version of that. It is indeed a Fiero, but would fool a lot of people - especially those who wouldn't recognize a Fiero. I haven't been there in a couple of years so I'm not sure if he still has it.
