So Jason you are confirming you ran a 9.12 in TSM trim less some weight?
How light were you, a guess is fine? Why do you think Otto thought you told him you were at weight? Don't forget to get the T6P TSM leader board updated with the 9.12 as that is an impressive run that will set you apart fromalot of others. Last thing what was the 1/8 et and mph on the 9.12 run?
Thanks in advance for the answers,
Kip

At weight or not that is just plain flying. Since the weight (lack of on Jasons part) means nothing then everybody pull all your weight out and go faster than Jason. To run a big number the hard part is having all the variables come together at the same time on the same pass.

Great job Jason. Let us know what's up at Cecil.

Jason congrats from the FTSS crew, we are all very proud of you. I want to personally thank you for believing and sticking with the cam. Lots of thought went into it in the begining. They said a hydraulic cam could not go that fast but you proved them wrong. Did I mention the contingency check for the first 8 from a TSM car with our cam?

Just got a call. 9.54 @142.9 from team banana. Kevin B also ran a 9.6 something at 142+, so it sounds like the budget racers are making some power. Team banana has gone from 9.9 to 9.54 without changing a tune laz put on the car at BG. Big props to laz. Don't think he spent more than 5 minutes working his magic on the car.

Congrats Tim!

The Team Banana vs KevinB grudge match ended in a 1 to 1 tie. I got the first race thanks to a good light and Tim's car cutting out right before the finish line. The second race belonged to Tim. I crossed the line first, but had a -.001 light Tim out ET'd me (9.54 to 9.67), but cut a .135 light.

The night was cut short because I lost oil pressure on that run. Don't know why yet, but probably a cracked block or cam bearing. This block has had the chit kicked out of it by me since '98 It was due lol. Good news is that the rotating assembly and cam are probably not hurt too bad.

I was shooting for a 9.7X tonight. Never did get the 9.7X, but skipped to the 9.6's Finally getting my combo working. There's more left in it...but I'm probably done for the year. My goal is 9.5' for BG

HAHA, thanks! Just let me barrow your engine

I was just doing some adding up of my passes on this block in my head. I'm probably at at least 1000, if not 1200 or so passes, plus it had 130K miles on it when we pulled it out of the wrecked car. I continued to use it as a daily driver for another 50K miles or so.

I wanted to be there but I am such a devoted employee. I brought the car with me to work if we got things wrapped up early, I was going to blast down to Muncie.

Toni, called me at work and said she wanted to run the car tonight at our local track. My Friend Pat really wanted to see what the changes he made to the tune were going to do.

We ran at our local track tonight. The weather sure was perfect today

Thanks Jason! My combo is coming together piece by piece. It's starting to work out now. Just a few more important things left. I feel next year will be a better one for me in TSM. I'm just happy I came from nothing last year to 9.6's this year with a small budget and a lot of help from my friends
