Holds 1-2 shift @ WOT, 2-3 at partial throttle, shifts if I kick the throttle.

Just like the topic says, my tranny will hold the 1-2 shift every once and awhile at wide open throttle. I have to let out and kick the throttle to get it to shift.

If I'm just driving around, normal driving situations, it will hold the 2-3 shift until I kick the throttle.

I'm assuming throttle valve? What's the fix, how easy is it? I would guess just pull the valve out and polish it? Where is the valve located?

Anything else that would cause this?

I'm to the point that if the car wasn't a street car, it would have a TH400 in it.

If driving it is doing something wrong, then, ya, I guess I am. I drove it all the way home, perfect shifts. Take it to the track, first pass, holds the 1-2.

I talked to Lonnie about it, he said to call him the next Monday (whichever day I called).

I called that Monday and got no answer. I've been trying to get ahold of him since.

Unfortunately, that is a problem where the car has to be left with a transmission guy. He needs to be able to drive it and to be able to open up the pan/valve body to do fine tuning. If however it is your daily driver, your gonna have to find another means of transportation.

Lonnie will become more accessible in aobut 2 weeks.

I have no problem dropping it off. Just name a date/time.

It would be nice if it's done by the 31st (for BPG @ Norwalk)... but not THAT big of a deal.
