Pro torque converter

I am lucky enough to have pro-torque sending me one of their 10.5 lockup, torque mutiplying converters to try out,If i like it i will buy it. WIll have it next tuesday, I was told by the owner that it will handle full throttle lockup even on my car ( which will go mid to low tens) without a problem, even under the use of a transbrake. WIll post results next week.
I should be able to purchase them at a discount if their are ant interested people.
Thanks Otto

cool man, I build my own trannies, and man my trans works so good i dont want to take it down, but i am not happy with the stall on my art carr with this turbo i am running, also have to replace the pump back to a lock up style, Do you recommend taking out the checkball in the input shaft or leaving it in? I have never removed one but was told taking it out makes for bettter lockup engagement.
Thanks Otto

i dont reccomend it .i believe it hurts the coinvertor and i have seen it cause input shaft breakage.i think if the clutch slips there is other problems beside the flow impeder in the input shaft .dont do it is my opinion.check out the site .we make billet parts and different ratio gear sets 4 the 2004r

Otto,

I have a Pat's convertor and he suggested taking the ball out. I had my trans guy do this. Both agreed it will help the clutch engagement. Maybe Pat's can custom build a convertor for you. If you go the billet convertor from Pat's you will be real well off.
