WOT Shifts

The car has an Art Carr shift kit in it. I've been having problems shifting at WOT. I backed out two clicks on the TV cable, still same problem. I'm lost.

Did the problem start just after installing the kit? Has anything else been changed; ie. tire height, gear, etc.?

The shift kit went in when the tranny was rebuilt. I was running Nitto's (275-50-15's) a hair shorter than 26"

Are you 100% positive that you got your original transmission back from the rebuilder along with the correct valve body & governor?

100%

All components used during the rebuild came from Art Carr (CA.)

Have you posed your question directly to someone at Art Carr?
