Stall question/issue

Okay, so I ordered a 2600 Stall from Edge Racing, hoping it would give me a little more edge on drag racing days, but keep factory manners on the road, considering the stock stall was 2200. Well, the car has the new converter in and still only stalls to 2200, and even seems slower out of the hole than before. I have read I probably should have got a 2800 to 3200, but at this point, I just want to make use of what I have. Is there something else I need to do?

86' T-type with following mods:
Precision GT3255E Turbo
Bosch 42.5 injectors
Commander Chip from Fullthrottlespeed
Racetronix Walbro 340 fuel pump with Hotwire kit
New O2 sensor (bosch)
MSD plug wires 10mm
3 inch down-pipe
no cat
Trq Strap
Big Neck Stock FMIC
Edge Racing Torque Converter 2600+

Is it pushing thru the brakes or the engine rpm wont go any higher? If it is pushing thru the brakes, try adjusting up the rear brakes. Also look at a scan tool and see where the timing is from the base idle setting when in gear with no load.Does it advance?
