Builders Suggestions for Cast Alum trans pans
I'm looking at getting some transmission pans cast. My plan is to make a nice pan similar to what's out there but with some changes in the fins (milled) and have a pad left for company specific logo.
That way each trans shop or company can mill their own logo in if they desire. I would need to produce these in quantities enough to sell to the public and shops. What pan would be the most popular? 700/4L60 pan? Suggestions? I've already talked to the foundry about it so it's a doable deal.

I would reccommend deleting the governor sump in the rear of the pan like we did with the sheet metal 2004r pans.We are working on the 4l60e and 4l80e pans now.Sheet metal of course.
