really, dont know much about trans coolers. Ive seen some with fans and stuff. This one i dont know how old it is but its lines run directly to the transmission. I thought they were suppose to go to the rad. My trans has never given me problems except for a bad TC solenoid. If its still good i might just mount it somewere else and redo the hoses. Thanks for the reply

thats the way mine was installed, straight to the trans cooler. I noticed my car also has oil cooler lines going to the radiator. I have two ports on the front side of the radiator facing the intercooler but there is no room to use those. How can i connect this cooler and the oil together?

If that is a tranny cooler, that is the "MAC DADDY" of coolers. With one that size, I wouold say forget the rad tie in and just run that beast straight to tranny. For a street car, you should have no trouble. I believe running all that heat thru your rad makes it less effective in engine cooling. I am going to run external oil and tranny. Frame rail mounted oil and tranny in front of rad. You should be able to sandwich that between your front mount and rad.
If you are in doubt, contact your tranny guy and get his input. Thanks Coach

thats how it was connected. I dont know how long previous owner had it like that but ive driven the car for 3 years with it connected straight to tranny with no problems. This is when the car was driven daily to work. Now its a weekend car so if it dosnt matter ill keep it the way it is. I only thought about changing because everyone else runs it through the rad.
