Transmission problems

I Recently gotten my transmission rebuilt two weeks ago my dad said it would not get out of first so the next day we see the kick down cable wasn’t even connected so we reconnected it took it out but it did not seem like it did before, before it would shift real nice and hard shifts and chirp the tires at every gear from a dead stop it would spin like crazy for a little then grab and go, so we took it back this past monday he said that third was burnt up and that they should have done a better job so friday my dad went and picked it up he said it wasn’t feeling as good as as it did before so when i got home from work i took it out seemd to shift good driving normally but when i would get on it it didn’t even whant to shift out of first and from a dead stop it wouldn’t even shift i also took it out today and it just dont feel the same but once it gets going it goes. I haven’t messed with anything on the car its the way i had the first time we took it in i dont know if me not having any exughst on it and the turbo not having any bake pressure that that could be the reason.

Well the kick down cable is the reason it burnt up the first time. Now as far as power and feel you will need to get the exhaust on for to make a determination on that now
