Trans pan spacer to use 700R4 filter

Anybody use the trans pan spacer that sets the stock pan down a little, so the 700R4 filter, with the bottom intake ,will clear. Will it
work ok for a street car, to make sure the trans has good oil supply on hard acceleration. thanks

I don't have any experience with it. Basically just a spacer but looks like it could be slightly more prone to leak with 2 gaskets (gasket sealer). I'm sure someone on here is using it or has & will chime in.

Post We have the drop tube. for the 700 filter.

If added may just help your problem. They were originally made for Art Carr but he never picked them all up. They are 12.00 and will help with this situation. The pan kit you got is good, so together I think it will help you out.
Just a thought. and if anybody needs any of these tubes , let me know. I will let them go cheap. I think Chris would even like these. I have had them for years hoping Art would finally pick them up, but oh well.

Hope this helps and I am trying to help not demean or talk down anybody's product. just want to help.
