Do I have a shift kit?

Bottom line, is there an easy way to tell if you have a shift kit already installed in your car? I have a 43k mile gn which was bone stock when I bought it. The previous owner said the injectors were 50lbers (actually 30's), said it had a walbro 340 in the tank (actually a stocker) and says it has a shift kit, so I'm assuming the transmission is actually stock as everything else was including the paper air filter. The transmission shifts firmly and will occasionally bark the 215's under certain conditions but doesn't shift very hard into 2nd at WOT. On my previous gn I put in an art carr kit which I liked alot, it shifted hard enough to spin the nittos if it were cool out and this transmission is definately not as firm. Do I just have a firm shifting stocker or what?

Sounds like it's probably stock also. Check with CK for his shift kit. From everything I've read it's a finely tuned kit.
