TV plunger/cable issue

Hi Guys, I just tried to install my TV Made EZ system on my olds 350/edelbrock 1406, 200r4 setup. So something is going on and I'm unsure what the fix is. It seems like the cable is not long enough which never happens according to bowtie overdrives. Basically when I have the cam setup attached to the carb linkage, the throttle is only at about half throttle with a fully depressed plunger, resting flush against the TV bushing on the transmission. It's supposed to be fully depressed when the linkage is at Wide open throttle, not half throttle which I'm experiencing now. I'm not sure how to fix this, any suggestions? Is this a throttle valve issue? I have pictures but I'm just not sure how to post them up here.

Hey first post!

Are you running a stock style cable? If so with that system you hook everything up, push the button on the side of the cable and push the center part of it back all the way towards the firewall, and then open the throttle all the way with the gas pedal. That will automatically adjust the "length" of the cable. You should hear a clicking sound. Does that make sense? What that does is it matches WOT with the plunger at full travel.

I dont know if you mentioned it, but you need to use the special spring that came with the kit unless you have 2004r.com 's tranmission. Hope this helps.

ends up that the cable was locking up due to an extreme curve down into the transmission. unkinked it, and now it's working like it should. just gotta get the pressures dialed in.

thanks for the help
