Any one in Colorado!

Anyone in Colorado know of a respectable trustworthy Transmission shop for my 2004R?

Detroit Transmission just south of I-76 on Sheridan in Denver. I think its 56th and Sheridan. PM board member GN138 for more details I think the guy you want there is named Tim, but ask GN138 to be sure. I have heard nothing but good things about this shop. I have been in his car and it shifts great. I also know the local buick club all were going to this shop back as of a few years ago.

I was debating going there but ended up ordering one from Brian Hoffer, the car is in my garage and not currently running so it was just as easy as having it towed there. And although I haven't used the tranny yet he is great to deal with. Outstanding customer service skills.

I bought a used transmission from board member "Whooshmobile" that was built at Detroit using PTS parts. Trans shifts STRONG and there has been zero problems so far.

After closly looking at my tranny I saw that there was a Detroit Transmission tag on the bell housing and I called them and they seem like good people. Found out my tranny got what they call "the good stuff" back in 99 and said it may need to be resealed but I am gonna wait on that seeing that my motor bill is slowly creeping toward 8000 when I started at 3200!! Haha they quoted me about 250-350 for a reseal which is VERY reasonable for anyone that may be interested.
