200R4... Full manual, reverse pattern, with transbrake...

Does this transmission exist ?

I'm just curious if the 200R4 can be made similar to the TH400 I have in my car now ?

I like the reverse shift pattern, and I like the transbrake on a button.

Just curious if the parts are out there to build such a beast ?

I tried the reverse manual valvebody from TCI and liked it... unfortunately, the trans was already toast.

I was tossing around the idea of maybe throwing a 200R4 together in my spare time...just to see how long it might live.... and no, I'm not ready to give up my TH400 stuff yet.

I'm just thinking outloud...

I though about trying one until it breaks...
I plan on keeping all my TH400 stuff, so I always have something to throw back in the car if the 200R4 breaks.

I don't have the wallet to buy one all done-up, but I can certainly build one little by little in my spare time. I've done TH400's, TH350's and 'glides already.
Never messed with a 200R4 yet, other than swapping a valvebody.

Currently, somewhere in the low-500's at the back wheels... But eventually somewhere in the 600's once I beef-up the shortblock and turn the nitrous on.

I bought a valvebody from TCI that was a full manual, reverse shift pattern. I found it on the Summit website...
I really liked it, but ended up selling it with the trans when I realized the trans was no good.
I may give one of those another try if I can find a decent core to rebuild.
