What hard parts to order...

Hi All,

I'm getting ready to go through my "CQ" tranny (from an '85 MCSS) that will reside in front of a 2004 LS-1 motor in my old street rod. I *was* going to turbo the motor (and still might), but for now just a big cam and heads will do. I already have my 3600 VIG converter and the flywheel and spacer needed to mate this up, all checks out perfect with 0.080" clearance between the flywheel and converter.

I need opinions on what hard parts to go with either way and what special tools I *really* need (I'm pretty handy at building stuff). I already have Chris's manual plus the ATSG book.

Thanks!

Front carrier and ring gear will need to be replaced for the turbo app. as well as the parts listed above. Call Chris for info about trans brakes.
