What hard parts to order...
Hi All,
I'm getting ready to go through my "CQ" tranny (from an '85 MCSS) that will reside in front of a 2004 LS-1 motor in my old street rod. I *was* going to turbo the motor (and still might), but for now just a big cam and heads will do. I already have my 3600 VIG converter and the flywheel and spacer needed to mate this up, all checks out perfect with 0.080" clearance between the flywheel and converter. I need opinions on what hard parts to go with either way and what special tools I *really* need (I'm pretty handy at building stuff). I already have Chris's manual plus the ATSG book. Thanks!
