TCC will not unlock on deacell
I got a PTE 37 chip and my torque converter locks up ok at about 60 MPH, but when running 70 to 80 mph , on the way down on de-acelleration, I got that buckleling thrashing feeling and the CONVERTER is still locked, similar to the clutch being engaged in fourth gear on a manual transmission and going to slow.
I solved this problem before on another car by putting in a relay that was powered by the 4th gear switch on the transmission, allowing the TCC only to be engaged in fourth gear. Do i need a chip change , or can the TV cable be adjusted? REGARDS
