what blew?

Hey hows it going ,im havein problems with my trani it wineds in 1st and doseint get out of gear and if i shift it my self it dose the same .Do u people think i blew my band or is it somethiing stupid .have no clue

Pull the pan and check that the governor spring didn't pop out, its really small and can cause very long delayed shifts if they do at all.

Dads 86 GN-ported heads, 204/214, ATR headers/exhaust, PT61, 60s, alky, 3400 9/11, ebay front mount (supporting mods...) 11.42 at 124.13mph 24 psi.
modded 85 GN and now a new 87 T.

If the spring isn't in the pan, pull down the governor cover and make sure the governor itself isn't bent or hanging up as well. More than likely that is where your problem will be is in that area.
Either the spring or the governor itself.
