Anyone else have this problem?

Has anyone else noticed a loss of MPH while using a Stage Right trans brake? Here is an example using my TTA. Last year it was running consistant 120 MPH passes. All of the sudden those numbers started dropping down to the 115-116 MPH range. One night I made 4 passes at 115-116 MPH, changed nothing, then knocked off a high 119 MPH on the next run??? What's really odd is that the 1/8 mile speed is really consistant...the 1/4 is another story; MPH is all over the place??? I tried not using the T brake and launching in 3rd to no avail. Razor mentioned this same problem, took the brake out and his MPH jumped....anyone else?

TTT

Mine did it.. they said it was an isolated incident. My DS runs would look like the car hit a wall 150 feet before the line.

Maybe its a TTA tranny thing?

could it be clutch drag caused by the lo reverse pack partially applying going down the track.?anyone try using a temperature gage during both modes of operation?that may point to something.

Mine is doing the same thing. Prior to SR TB car went 122. Now with SR TB car will barely manage 115 with a 1.50 60 ft. Trans temps in the 180's, fresh rebuild, hi-stat clutches in LO/REV, billet parts Blah, Blah Blah. 1/8 mi MPH is 95-96 consistantly
