sacramento transmission experts?

I live in Citrus Heights, CA,.. basically just outside Sacramento.

I'm a Mopar guy, so please don't flog me

I'm building a 1971 Dodge Dart with a mildly built 360 (about 300 hp). I've got a 904 transmission I need to have rebuilt. I've already purchased a Griner Reverse Manual Valve Body, lower gear set and performance rebuild kit including upgraded clutch packs, seals, gaskets, etc for it...all from Cope Racing Transmissions (they specialize in Mopar stuff).

Now, I'm looking to find someone in the area who can install this stuff for me.. and I'm having a heck of a time!!! I heard great things about performance transmission, but called them today, and they won't do it because they only install their own parts.. I totally understand that. I'm looking for a tranny guy who may be interested in doing this on the side for some cash.

Anyone here know anyone who might be interested???
Please either PM me here, or email me at cal_gecko@hotmail.com

Thanks guys!

I am right here.

I am at Watt and Fruitridge. I specialized in Mopars for years (still do alot of them) and still have some super stock & stock record holders. Just go out to the track ( Sacramento Raceway) and ask the guys with Mopars out there who did theirs. My Dad is also the president of the 300 Brute Source Chrysler 300 club nationwide. We currently have a 65 Imperial in there being worked on. Can do any year make or model of Mopars and with a 904 or 998 you have MANY options.
I can build you anything from stock to fully rollered shafts and internals. Your limit is what your budget and application requires.
Give us a call when you can or come by the shop. We will be leaving for Vegas on Wed night and gone through next monday so please understand this.
You are more than welcome to call my cell or visit the shop.
916-952-9567
shop is 916-739-0510 on Monday.

PTS

Have Bruce do it for you with his parts.

I made the mistake of trying to have a local guy here build my 200 r4 and wished I would of went with PTS from the get go. I was trying to save some bucks and it just caused me greif, time and money.

I bit the bullet and got one from PTS and now my problems are over! Does everyting they said it would do and customer service is excellent!

I would highly reccomend PTS!

Dennis

Hi Mark

Not quite winter yet Mark.

Still very nice up here, almost like August weather. About 50 in the day and 30's in the evening. Turbo runs well in this weather for sure.

Thanks for the killer tranny! It bangs the gears hard.

Dennis
