BQ "goodies" put into a AA --is worth it the work ??

I`m getting ready to install VB,Gov,Boost valves, servo, out of a 85 BQ into my AA trans in my 84 tt, but was wondering if these parts are going to give me the Firm shifts I`m after, this AA is a new rebuild (500 mi),I just dont like the ho hum shifts. Not looking for weekend drag king, just a nice solid sat nite tire chirper. Is the work to inst this stuff going to give me what I want ? Need to get feed back from people who been there ,done that----Jack

the bq body and governor will net later shifts ,but not firmer shifts.you need a good recalibration kit such as what we offer.check customer feedback on the homepage of my site.dedicated to the kits performance.
