Will someone please diagnose my tranny problem ?
I have a TTA with the 2004R transmission and here are the
symptoms; right before the car shifts into 2nd it feels like the tranny starts to slip a little bit, and it also feels like the car vibrates or shutters a little at this point also. It only acts this way before it shifts and this is only at normal driving, if I floor it , it seems to shift alright with no slippage. I adjusted the TV cable and it did help the slipping a little bit, but not completely. The car has 77,000 miles on it and I did notice that the tranny had a sticker on it that said, original GM rebuilt transmission(TAF code), so I don't know how many miles are on it, but it is not the factory tranny obviously. Any suggestions on what the problem could be ? Thanks James |
