high 2-3 shift points after warm up( and after shift kit install)

I put in bruces shift kit and right off the bat all my shift points were high. I adjusted my tv cable fwd and my 1-2 shifts are good and 2-3 are good when cold but after the tranny warms up the 2-3 is between 3500 and 4000 rpm and sometimes flares higher. Did i do something wrong on the install. does my tv cable need more adjustment. thanks.
btw. the trans does shift firm . thanks Rich/
