turbo

currently have a mid 11 second gn, looking for anyone who has a good low 11sec, high10sec or a little faster street combo. I was thinking a te62 or a te45a turbo, 3500 lockup, etc. Any successful combinations?thanks

add alky with your ported iron heads and push that 49 a little harder to the 10s

your going to need a roll bar which will add some weight but will also stiffen the chassis which might help your 60'

45a with the 3500 should be good for mid high 10s with those injectors (i'd say easy but for some it might never happens for others its enough to get to 9s, )

I'm going that fast with a TE60. Build in my sig. Lovin the small turbos, spool fast.

With your stall you might have spooling issues (Te62 or TE45). IMO - wait save some more flow and buy a BB...done.

Hooker exhaust
3'' Down Pipe
Fuel Pump XP W/ Hot Wire Kit
PTE-61 or PTE-67
3200 stall
Alky
Maybe a 214/214 cam if your stock isn't already getting flat.

That should be all you would need

I am running a good rebuilt shortblock with forged pistons and roller cam, hoping to get this turd running first
2800 9" with a speed density tweek chip.
Going to enjoy the lag so it hooks on drag radials

Cant wait...

Ported irons are good for the te45a, what cam are you running?

I have a 3400 stall and te45 on my blue limited, it spools up faster than the stock turbo and convertor. Very street friendly, car should run 10.8s on higher boost.

Have a ta61 on my white limited, it has a 3300 stall and it comes up stupid fast. low 11 second car heads never off

I upgraded from the 61 to a te64, its a tad smaller than the te45a, but very close. It should run 10.70s here real soon.

Many turbos and combos out there, just decide on what you want in the end and do it once
