should i get into the 10's

let me know what u guys think.old combo went 11.90s@112 with ta 60 009's.the new combo goin in is a girdled 30 over trw's 204/214 cam 50lbs te 45a esp frt mount and 9''3500 stall w/200r4.motor has been done on the stand for 2yrs can't wait to drop it in this spring thanks!!

also fully ported irons with fully ported intake egr gone sorry for lack of info thanks

just a question but why 50#ers and not 60/65#ers? also are you supplementing the fuel with Alky or are you shooting for 10s with strictly race gas?

i got the 50's from a friend for a song.yes i will probaly install an alky kit,race gas will be threw the roof this year

should of left the 60 on there and maxed it out before spending all that money at once 10's wre at the door with the right tune. i ran 11.60 with just a 49 and stock motor and duttneck with 4000# weight and a 1.6 60. so i guess with your setup yes it will go 10's with a good 60 and the right tune

Thanks for the info,i changed every thing because i lunched the stock motor,took out the thrust,probally from cruising around with a bad tranny!oh well live and learn so i thought why not go a little bigger and better.hope to have her in and dialed in by april

i live in riverside,by the airforce base.i've never been to quaker city,but have heard of it.i when do they have a meet there?are they strict on tech?i don't have a cage!
