Street Tune-16PSI on 91 Pump Gas

Was quite happy with the #'s from my Dyno Test today

Max Power=377.37

Max Torque=370.41

#'s would have been better, but the trans kept trying to downshift.

That'd be over 400 HP to the wheels with the converter locked. You lose a ton due to converter slippage. I picked up around 50 HP by locking the converter on mine. I realize we don't lock it every time we race someone however I'd say this is an honest 410 HP or more to the wheels locked. On 91 octane.... Dayam!

ED, my converter is a lockup, the way we ran the car for the test was, bring the speed up to about 30mph, and then give it WOT, for the readings. Tester stated I was prob putting around 480 horses to the flywheel. I guess it was a problem with the tranny wanting to kick down, they stated we needed to do something to the trans to stop this.

Mark

Very nice for pump gas and unlocked. Congrats!

My non-TB picked up 30rwhp when I ran it locking up at WOT, and about 25rwt.
