HP Estimates???

Hey guys,

I havent posted here in a while, been selling out to the LS1 World. I want to do a few mods this spring to get me in the heart of 11's. I want to get some Horsepower and Torque estimates of what Im running now. Currently, my setup has went 12.20@112.14mph on a 1.75 60'. Its in a 1990 Firebird weighing in at 3360Lbs with driver. The launch was w/ 5psi on footbrake and 20psi in 27x10.5 Slicks.

109 block 3.8L(Bored .030")
Stock reconditioned crank(.020/.020)
Stock reconditioned rods w/ ARP bolts
Stock 8445 Heads w/ 100lb springs
Erson 208/208 cam
Stock intake
Kenne Bell 70mm Upper plenum and Throttle body
CPTE44 Turbo(.63AR)(20psi)
100% Stock Intercooler
3" Custom Downpipe w/ HKS WG(TH style)
3"MAF Pipe(w/ stock MAF and K&N Filter)
TurboTweak 93 Street Chip (18/20 Timing)
TH400 w/ 3200 Stall Fuddle TC
Stock Napa Fuel Pump (Walbro "169" pumps suck!)
Broken Boost controller(im stuck @ 20psi b/c of HKS WG)

This season I plan to add:
Manual Boost controller
110 TT Race Chip 24 degrees, 25 psi
New High volume fuel pump
Duttweiler Neck intercooler

How much power might I be seeing now with my combo and how much can I hope to see when I upgrade

370 at the wheels. why upgrade you have the setup now to run low 11's especially with a 3360 pound car with you in it. i ran a 11.60 with a 3900 pound car with me and steel wheels and a ta-49 and alky. i see you run 20 psi and 20/18 timing that is a street tune i run 25 psi and 27/24 timing. tune up to that and you will be there making 500 hp at the wheeels

I am not trying to upgrade my setup, just trying to make it better and safer to run more boost. I am thinking of running 110 octane this season and maybe towards late summer getting alky.

How many mph do yall think I could pick up by going from 18/20 timing and 20psi on a 93 Street Chip all the way up to 27/24 and 25psi on a 110 Race Chip??

My Trap speed on 20 Psi is 112-113 mpg with a 1.7ish 60'

6 tenths and 6 mph if you also upgrade to a duttneck or biggerfor this will hold you back. the biggest factor you have going for you is the light weight of your vehicle

You will have about 330 hp with an unlocked converter on the dyno. With the boost at 25 psi and timing at 26-28 degrees you should be able to pick up over 100 hp and about 7 mph. Id shoot for 11.3-11.5 a/f.
