What Can I Expect?

I was pondering the academic question of what can I expect with the following combo which is soon to be dropped into the car ready for the summer of 2008:

1989 Turbo Trans Am
.030 "291" 4.1 with ported irons and intake
rollerized valve train
Comp 210/215 roller cam with kit
PTS 9/11 3200 T/C,
CPT66 BB,
Stock IC with Duttwieller neck
Ext Chip - 23/19 timing
Translator Plus
LT1 MAF Sensor
62mm T/B,
Ported doghouse
60# MotoTron injectors
Walbro 340 F/P
Action Fab 3” D/P
Freeflowing exhaust with testpipe
BFG Drag Radials on stock rims
Spohn Adjustable Torque Arm
Global West Subframe Connectors
Spohn Adj Panhard Rod, Spohn Lower Control Arms

My previous best with a TA49 and the stock 3.8 was 11.79 @ 114.7

This has been almost two years in the making and more $'s than I care to admit, so it will be interesting to see what she does next summer.

Don't know how good your heads flow. But, the stock IC will be holding you back a bit. I'd also think about MT DRs.

So, my guess is: high tens/low elevens (as is).

or: mid tens or better with bigger IC and better tires.

An alky kit would help air temps alot with that stock IC.

I will have an SMC alky kit. An upgrade to better tires is contemplated, but the IC will have to do for now...trying to recover from the $'s spent, i.e. budget was blown and the wife is unhappy!

The heads are cc'd and ported as well as having the intake welded with the runners raised. The stock headers are also welded and contoured to smooth the flow.
