Which Red Armstrong chip are you running? You might not have been running enough boost if it's one of his race chips, that's why it was sputtering and bogging. His race chips run very rich because it's expected that you run high boost.

Wow, completely forgot about this thread. With a 108 chip I would run at least 25 psi of boost and 112 octane fuel. I also think RA race chips need one if not both MAF screens removed.

x2 red's chips have alot of fuel, so you need to crank up the boost with it

You got good gas..... crank it up some..... 1-2 psi at a time.

You aren't making any power yet with only a 102 trap speed.

My car with a stock unopened motor and stock turbo went about 108 mph with a few bolt-ons and about 20-22 psi boost.... and it was far from tuned. 60' was 1.71 for me.... 12.65 in the quarter.

Most should be able to get low 12's out of a stock unopened motor and stock turbo with some tuning and time.

It was breaking up from detonation. Have fun changing headgaskets. With a stock turbo, 21 to 23 psi with 110 octane, Reds 108 chip, low 12's@108-111. Red's race chips lock the converter. The MPH difference between the TT and Red's chips was from the lock up and timing of the race chip.

first off your not that far from the 12's now, dropping the 60ft by leaving on more boost, you need a scanmaster or a wideband on the car.with those items in place and a good set of drag radials or slicks, raising boost will increase the power.we got the stock turbo to 30psi on alkycontrol and a stock turbo/motor.
